<p>ABOUT THIS WINE70% Grenache – 15% Mourvèdre – 15% Syrah. Hand-picking with sorting in the vineyard and in the cellar. De-stemming (100%) and vinification in oak truncated tanks with wild yeasts. Grape maceration (31 days). Aging takes place in foudres and demi-muids (600 liters) for 14 months. ABOUT THIS PRODUCERThis estate, with its numerous excellent bottlings, is on a serious roll. Wines from Le Clos du Caillou are Rhône blends at their most intense- Concentrated and richly textured, these organically raised wines capture the spice of older-vine Grenache as grown on the region’s finest terroirs.The estate has been practicing biodynamic viticulture since 2003, and was certified organic in 2010.
